Together

After a long confinement, the creative and resilient need arises to feed the spirit, to keep us together through art. "Together" by the De La Salle Bajío University Orchestra, presents a reunion through a series of musical pieces, the result of work and practice of exercises from home.

Created in 2016, the De La Salle Bajío University Orchestra was born with the aim of supporting the artistic talent of young members of other community orchestras in the city of León; it also encourages an ongoing musical training by providing ad-hoc scholarships as part of the San Juan Bautista De La Salle Scholarship. This allows young musical promises to finish a professional career while sharing their talent with the world.

Brotherhood

The cultural heritage obtained from Spain is not only reflected in linguistic or gastronomic environments, but also through art and dance. "Hermandad" presents us with the link between the gypsy-flamenco roots and its eclectic harmony, with the pre-Hispanic traditions of our folk dances.

The "Felinos Danza Folclórica" and "Felinos Danza Flamenca" artistic groups have the longest trajectory with more than 25 years of uninterrupted work. They have participated in several dance productions and interdisciplinary shows such as "Raíces" and "Gitanerías", performing at diverse venues both within our region and nationwide.

The exhibition of mexican artist José Chávez Morado, originally from Silao, Guanajuato, allows us to view his concern for social justice, his political reflections, his love for different artistic and cultural manifestations, his pride in showing the cultural richness of his country and his concern about how all the different Mexicos might walk together and build a legacy for future generations.
